High School Academics

High School: VII – X Standard

Through the guidance of skilled and seasoned educators, we empower our high school students to become independent and attentive learners. Our goal is to cultivate in our students a sense of accountability and earnestness as they advance from grades 7 to 10 while promoting a comprehensive approach to education that allows them to flourish.

At NGS High School, we provide a State Board curriculum. As students transition to high school from middle school, they have the opportunity to explore potential career paths. Over the span of four years, we equip students to comprehend their studies and effectively prepare for board exams with precision and accuracy.

Secondary students exemplify self-confidence, independence, leadership, and social awareness. The Secondary Grades, encompassing grades 7 through 10, are a hive of activity. Students are motivated to engage in inter-school competitions and play an active role in organizing and carrying out school events and contests. The student council provides a highly beneficial leadership development program.

Geography, History & Civics, Language (Hindi or Kannada), and English, Science and Mathematics (including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics), Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW), Computer Application, Physical Education, and Arts (option of any one topic) are the core subjects taught in Grades VII - X.

Extra Curricular Activity

During these formative years, it's crucial to nurture a child's skills. High school students have the opportunity to actively participate in leadership and student council activities.

We strongly encourage our children to take part in cultural events, including folk dances, skits, singing, intraclass discussions, as well as sports, music, and the arts. Our clubs are designed to help students build confidence, develop social skills and foster a deep passion for specific subjects.
